The Red Wine and Blues promises an afternoon filled with your friends, top varietals from upscale wineries and some of the best "down-home blues" you have ever heard. Along with the music and dancing provided by 3rd Degree Blues, your admission includes a commemorative wine glass, etched with the Newport Harbor Elks logo, fresh appetizers including fruits, cheeses, breads and more. Other events, including the Grapes of Cash 50/50 drawings and raffle prizes are planned for the remainder of the afternoon.
Due to the popularity of this event, attendance will be limited to the first 120 tickets sold.

Youth Night 2014 – More than $52,000 Awarded At Newport Harbor Elks Lodge #1767 By PR Chairman Karen Johnson
On Tuesday, May 6, Newport Harbor Elks Lodge hosted one of its most special events where outstanding youth in the community are recognized and honored. Before the award’s ceremony, an Italian buffet dinner was prepared for those receiving awards, their families, and attendees. After dinner, a few members from Sea Scout Troop #1767 presented the Colors and led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance. After the invocation and introductions, the presentation began with slightly more than $52,000 in awards being presented to:
• Costa Mesa Cougar's Elementary Band • Costa Mesa American and National Little League • Scouting Awards -- Costa Mesa Girl Scouts Service Unit and Sea Scout Troop #1767 • YMCA – Davis Campus Summer Program • Boys and Girls Clubs of the Harbor Area • Orangewood Home for Children presented to La Familia an auxiliary of Orangewood • California Elementary School Foundation (CESF) providing technology, science and music • High School Arts & Music – Costa Mesa High School, Estancia High School, Newport Harbor High School, and Corona Del Mar High School • Drug Awareness Program – Newport Beach Police Department • Newport Harbor Elks Baseball Tournament • High School Athletic Awards for Costa Mesa High School, Estancia High School, Newport Harbor High School, and Corona Del Mar High School • Scholarship Awards for the Most Valuable Student will be presented in August 2014 to 20 well-earned graduating seniors
